Oh No!  I think I have a virus!!

Sometimes even with the latest anti-virus protection, we stumble across a website or email that infects our computer with a new virus. But now, your computer is not functioning. Repairs of this type need to come into our office under a couple of scenarios:

1. Clean up the computer - if the virus can be removed using your anti-virus software or other tools, then we will simply get rid of the virus for you.  The cost of this service is $50/ hour (usually repairs of this type take about 1 hour).

2.  In some cases, it's impossible to remove the virus or the virus has done so much damage that your system just doesn't run right.  Your hardware is still good but your system needs to be rebuilt to really get it back on track. If this is the case, the best thing to do is to reload your operating system (Windows 98, XP, 2000 or Vista) and all your applications*. Using your CDs and license codes, we will completely reload your system and update all security measures at our shop for $250.

What about your data?  We will pull the data off your computer before we rebuild it for $25 a Gigabyte of data.

* We will reinstall any applications and an Operating System that you provide the installation CD and any necessary licenses for.  If you don't have the license or CD, then you will need purchase the license for each software package or Operating System.
